Laminated glass, also known as sandwiched glass, is composed of two or more layers of glass with an interlayer made of one or more layers of organic polymer material. After undergoing a special high-temperature pre-pressing (or vacuum) and high-temperature, high-pressure processing, the glass and interlayer are permanently bonded into a composite glass product.

Commonly used interlayer materials for laminated glass include PVB, SGP, EVA, PU, and others.
